The space Located in a quiet neighborhood on a family-friendly cul-de-sac, the Surf Farmhouse is situated on 3/4 of an acre--all beautifully landscaped and maintained. The house and its grounds provides an ideal location for a long vacation or short getaway--for one to two families--any time of the year. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a lush front yard and a long driveway with room for 5+ cars. A wrap-around font porch with plenty of seating (including a porch swing) awaits, and is a great place for a morning coffee or evening cocktail. The Surf Farmhouse itself is sundrenched throughout, tastefully decorated (a mix of surf inspiration and farmhouse chic) and packed with amenities. There are 3 full bedrooms, 2 full baths, a dedicated office and a gym. The house comfortably sleeps 6-8 people. The house benefits from central A/C and heat (separate units for the first and second floors) and ceiling fans in the family room, living room and master bedroom. Internet throughout the entire house is strong, reliable and even reaches the back patio. All three bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, as is a full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet and second large closet. The 2nd bedroom also has a king-sized bed and wall-to-wall closet. In the closet, there is also a blow-up queen-sized bed that is incredibly comfortable. The 3rd bedroom is great for kids or adults. It has 2 twin-sized beds that can be connected to queen-sized bed and 2 large closets. There is also a blow-up toddler bed in the closet. The 2nd-floor full bathroom, which includes a bathtub, was remodeled in 2021 and sits adjacent to all bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms and the office have an Amazon Echo to enjoy your latest podcast or favorite music. The 2nd floor also has a dedicated office perfect for anyone working remotely. The office includes a desk, printer and pull-out couch perfect for a teen. The main floor contains a kitchen, dining room, family room, living room and full bath. The Kitchen is large and perfect for cooking up a feast of local seafood and farm stand produce. It sits next to a sundrenched Dining Room that has a huge farmhouse-style table that comfortably sits 8 and has leaves to fit 10-12! The Family Room is perfect for entertaining and relaxing, and is where you'll spend most of your time. It has the best couches in the house, amazing light and a smart TV. The Living Room has great seating, tons of room and a gas fireplace. It's a great place to enjoy an evening by reading a book or playing a board game from the house-provided library and game shelves! The Mediterranean-inspired full bathroom also includes a bathtub, but has the best shower pressure ever! The house boasts a finished basement that includes a large open space great for kids to play, a well-appointed gym and a laundry room with new washer and dryer. The gym has everything you need for a vacation workout, including yoga mat, free weights, kettle bells, bench press, pull-up bar, deadlift bar, stationary bike and various other workout equipment. The gym also has an Amazon Echo and smart TV so you can enjoy a movie, TV show or music during your workout. You'll want to spend much of your time relaxing on the beautiful backyard patio that looks out into the large, lush backyard. The patio has a large BBQ grill, perfect for cooking up a feast, a dining table that's ideal for evening dinners during the summer, and multiple lounge chairs and couches with seating for your entire family. The backyard patio is magical at night, as string lights provide the perfect setting for a dinner, drinks and great conversation. The backyard is large and perfect for family fun. The large shed contains numerous activities, games and toys, including bikes, skateboards, soccer goals/balls, baseball bats/mitts/balls, tennis racquets/balls, basketballs, cornhole, horseshoes and even slip and slides for the kids. Although you'll want to spend significant time on the grounds, one of the best features of the Surf Farmhouse is its close proximity to multiple oceanside and bay beaches, the nearest of which is a quick seven minute drive. The house comes equipped with all the beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys you'll need. In addition, the Surf Farmhouse is centrally located to everything you'd want to experience during a Hamptons vacation. The cute towns of Quogue and East Quoque are minutes away; popular Westhampton, with its great restaurant scene, is just down the road; chic Southampton is a short drive away; and if you're in the mood for the North Fork's relaxed scene, family farms and wineries, you can be there in 15 minutes.
