The Hideaway detached studio apartment is on the edge of Danehill, Chelwood Gate and Nutley villages. It has a brand new king size bed, kitchen, walk in shower room and a double sofa bed (for a further two persons). Wall hung flat screen TV/DVD The space We recently refurbished one of our outbuildings to provide a separate studio apartment within the magical Ashdown Forest on the edge of Danehill and Chelwood Gate. The Hideaway has a brand new king size bed, kitchen, walk in shower room and a double sofa bed (for a further two persons). The flat screen TV/DVD is on a pivot so you can watch it snuggled up in bed or cuddled on the sofa. You can literally leave the front door and go hiking or hacking straight onto the 10 square miles of pristine Ashdown Forest to one of the many great pubs or places of interest. We have stables, ménage and paddocks at your disposal if you want to take the horses (or dogs) for a treat riding on the miles of forest trails. If you prefer to go on two wheels rather than four legs we have mountain and road bikes for hire. At the end of a long day sit down and chill out with a movie from our extensive DVD library which has movies across all genres and ages. With the free Wi-Fi you can watch Netflix etc on the TV with your own login. We can also provide a PS3 or Wii. The Hideaway has a fully equipped kitchen. For breakfast we will stock your fridge with entirely free range local goodies (eggs/bacon/sausages/breads) and/or continental breakfast for you to enjoy when you want to get up. Just leave everything in the sink and we’ll take it from there either way! Finally, we are on site and if there is anything you need we will sort it out for you.
