Close to Webster University (2 m) and located in the center of WG, Peg's Place erases travel-time as you assist children getting settled at WU or visit with your WG family & friends. Guarantee your booking and receive a 10% discount! The space Previous guests love the privacy, spaciousness, SleepNumber Bed and easy access to Webster University and family/friends. It is important that guests feel comfortable descending and ascending the 10 oak stairs that provides private access to a lower level suite. Railings on both sides of the stairs facilitate the trip up and down. Peg offers keyless entry through the private back door. The walk around to the back door requires that guests go through a gate and across a flagstone and cedar-slate pathway to the back patio. Once inside, please sign the guest book and alert Peg with a text stating that you have arrived and another text when you have checked out. I will be on site and available throughout your stay in separate quarters on the main floor of the house. Questions, concerns and comments can be voiced via text, phone or a simple door knock. Peg's goal is to make you feel at home in your private space. I will not bother you unless you ask or some concern should arise which requires your notification. The suite features an office with fast Internet, an HP color desk-jet printer and office basics. Settle into your home away from home as you enjoy, a private bedroom with ensuite bath, a living area with comfy couch and recliner, a streaming TV with Bose surround sound and a kitchenette equipped with basic essentials. The kitchenette is equipped with mini fridge, coffee maker, electric tea pot, (coffee & tea are provided), toaster oven and microwave. The shared back patio offers opportunity to soak-up the natural assets of quiet WG. Here you can enjoy a complementary cup of coffee in the morning or a relaxing view of the sunset after a day of activity. A gas fire pit warms up the space on mild winter days and a ceiling fan maintains a cooling breeze in the summer. A second gate at the back of the property leads into Memorial Park where a public fitness center, swimming pool, tennis courts and high school athletic track are easily accessible. Yes, access to the Thanksgiving Turkey Day Game is right outside the gate. 1 2025 celebrates a NEW Pool and NEW Athletic Field. More information about the fees and offerings at the recreation center can be found on the coffee table. The athletic track is open to the public after school hours and on weekends. Needless to say, if there is an event happening on the field the track is not available but you are most often welcome to come in and watch. Other things to note The City of Webster Groves has issued Peg's Place a Certificate of Compliance (Residential, valid from 04/18/17 to present).
