Bedroom and additional private south facing office/reading/yoga/meditation room for one person in private and secure upstairs apartment. 10 blocks from downtown San Jose. Wood floors, high ceiling, spacious rooms. Kitchen and bath may be shared with host (age 52) recently working from home (Architect). The space Very quiet and peaceful 98% of the time. Summer Saturday nights do have sounds of loud motorcycles and music from weekend cruising by on adjacent urban street. Old Spanish style architecture. High decorative ceiling motif, wood floors, lots of windows. Very safe and secure in a downtown urban environment. Very quiet host and space is very private. Guest access The premises are very secure with rear locked gate and secure upstairs access. Urban setting requires that front and rear access be kept locked and secure. Never had a single safety issue in 20+ years of living here. During your stay Anytime or virtually none at all. I typically close my doors for privacy during a guest visit. But I am always available for any questions about the area. Other things to note One person only except for repeat guests or after a few days permission for additional guest can be requested. This space really feels quite secluded and private despite being in a very urban downtown area. Adjacent neighborhood has a wide variety of period architecture and really great for walks. Super safe and friendly vibe.
