This historic Sausalito hideaway offers a private retreat only 5 minutes from downtown. We are located just over the Golden Gate Bridge, 14 minutes from the amazing city of San Francisco! The trailhead for the Golden Gate National Recreation Area/Marin Headlands is at the border of our property, 40 feet from your door. Presidio National Park, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, and the Ferry Terminal (to San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, Angel Island & the East Bay) are just a few minutes away. The space This lovely apartment is a compact, yet well designed space for 2 persons. There is a separate bedroom with a quality mattress (Q) and linens, a flat screen TV, and a fold-down double sofa in the living room for an extra guest. We regret that the property is not safe for small children or infants however. The rental has the nice little extras you need for a comfortable stay including: kitchenette with gas stove/oven, microwave, mini fridge, linens, washer/dryer, workspace/WiFi, and a spacious deck with an outdoor table and lounge chairs for two. Guest access Enjoy instant access with an entrance code through a private gate and pathway with a garden and deck. Other things to note We can stock your fridge, provide flowers, champagne, chocolates, etc., for a small fee. We can also make reservations for restaurants, museums, broadway shows, horseback riding, kayaking, mountain biking, etc. Or activities like Alcatraz tours, Wine Tasting in Napa Valley, a Personal Tour of San Francisco or Sausalito, etc. Note events in San Francisco and Marin County tend to sell out fast (especially Muir Woods) so do make reservations early.
