There is a staircase down from the back of the house down to an open meadow area with a fire pit and chairs available outside. On the deck there is a grill and charcoal. The adjacent state land has numerous trails and many recreational opportunities are available in the nearby area. Other things to note If you are coming in the wintertime I️ recommend a vehicle with all wheel drive / 4 wheel drive. All roads to my property including my driveway are plowed regularly, but still the terrain is hilly and my driveway is uphill. Lake-effect storms can create tremendous amounts (several feet) of snowfall in short periods, and while great for skiing and snowboarding it can also result in hazardous driving conditions. With some 2WD vehicles you may find that roads could be difficult to pass until they are plowed. This is advice is not just for my listing, but for anyone traveling to north-west Michigan in the wintertime. Travel safely!
