Cozy up around our Bunya View Bonfire, walk along the lake, explore the bushwalking tracks, take in the fresh air, and admire the stunning sunsets over Cooby Dam. The space Experience a tranquil country getaway at our country estate set on the shores of Lake Cooby. Our air conditioned Family Bunk Room is a simple yet comfortable accommodation option for families or small groups looking to escape day to day life and breathe and breath of fresh air. The Family Bunk Room is a single room containing 2 x Triple Bunks (i.e. double bunk on the bottom and single on top), and 1 x Bunk Bed (i.e. singles on the top and bottom). All rooms have air conditioning, power access, mini fridge, basic tea & coffee, and linen (sheets, blankets, pillows, towels) provided. All rooms have private electronic locks, disability access via our access ramp, carparking nearby, and a shared balcony. Your booking includes access to: - Personal ensuited room in our communal shower & toilet block (detached from tent) - Communal camp kitchen in our Green Hub, including fridge, BBQ, kettle, toaster, microwave, tea & coffee supplies, boardgames, dining tables & chairs, and lounge area (BYO food, cutlery, crockery, glassware & cooking utensils) - Bunya View Bonfire Pit including pre-cut timber - Bushwalking tracks - Access to Cooby Dam - make sure to pack your fishing rod and kayak (no fuel-powered vessels permitted as per local council guidelines) *Please note that phone reception is limited depending on your service provider. Wifi is available in your room and at the Loveday Barn* Guest access - Bushwalk through 50 acres of native bushland - Enjoy water views and incredible sunsets from your Bell Tent. - Access to Cooby Dam - bring your kayak and fishing rod. Alternatively, take a cuppa down to the waters edge, take a stroll, and skim some rocks across the lake. - Bring your own bike - Book onsite adventure activities such as Archery and Moutain biking (min 15 guests, by pre-arranged booking only) During your stay We live offsite but are available if you need us Other things to note Our site has 3 x air conditioned Family Bunk Rooms (sleeps 8 each), 15 x air conditioned Bunkhouses (sleeps 8 each), 10 Bell Tents (sleeps 2 each), and our Cooby Lakehouse (sleeps 10). Accommodation options are spread over the property to maintain your privacy. Generally we operate as a school camp, retreat, wedding, and private & corporate event venue. On weekends when we are not being utilised for events, we have opened up our beautiful venue for couples and families seeking a relaxed getaway. We are a hidden gem location close to local amenities, but out of the way of the hustle and bustle of day to day life.
