Most hotels in Decatur are situated close to loud congested highway traffic; this property is one of the best to avoid highway traffic while you're in town. We can also pre-stock your bar and the dock area with corporate amenities, cocktails, beer, wine, and really anything else legal that you'd like to share with your guests. We ask that you respect having no more than 10 people on the property (including 4 overnight guests) at any time. We're not looking to fill it with party goers; this corporate retreat is the perfect place to close long term business deals that will far outweigh your rental investment with us during your stay. Our house is designed to escape the connected lifestyle during your getaway, and is purposely not wired with satellite or cable TV, though there is a Roku device that will connect to your own personal (e.g. bring your own) WiFi hotspot if you absolutely must access streaming content during your stay. Guest access You'll be able to access the master and guest bedrooms upstairs with connected bathrooms and shower, plus the downstairs bedroom and bar area, along with kitchen and living room. The owners closet upstairs is locked and there is garage space available for one vehicle, but the garage storage is also considered off limits. Other things to note This property is closest to the best grocery store in town with the most organic food options; we also have some of the best kitchen prep equipment for any house you'll find in the area for rent. There is no internet and guests must bring their own portable WiFi Hotspot if internet is required.
