Description

Welcome to High Society BNB, your home away from home in the city. Go check us out! This 2 level apartment is a great location for a group to stay or an individual that wants more space than a hotel room. There are 2 floors with living/kitchen on the main floor and 2 bedrooms downstairs in our fully renovated basement. There are a total of 7 beds (6 comfy mattresses and 1 futon)! The space We do not allow parties and only registered guests should be at the property. Please be considerate of the neighbors and abide by the quiet hours of 10pm-8am. This oversized 2 level apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with 2 living rooms, (one of the bedrooms is kind of a living room layout). It is centrally located in the hip neighborhood of Wicker Park. There are 7 beds (2 Queen beds, 3 twin beds, 1 double beds, 1 futon) and can accommodate up to 8 people! There is a newly renovated bathroom that connects to both bedrooms in the downstairs. Please keep in mind older Chicago buildings have character, but they may also appear less clean. The unit is thoroughly cleaned between each guest and all bedding and towels are provided and cleaned prior to each new guest. Centrally located in Wicker Park with less than a 10 min cab ride to to Downtown, Lincoln Park, Wrigleyville and close/ easy access to the freeway, public transportation and nightlife. This is an oversized 2 bedroom apartment with 7 beds (6 real mattresses, 1 futon). There are three closets that are wide open for your things so you can unpack and make yourself at home. There is wi-fi internet with password provided upon booking. The main bedroom and den bedroom room are in the basement (down the spiral staircase, which is a narrow spiral staircase). The bedrooms have no windows so when you wake up in the morning it is still completely dark in the room (great for sleeping in after a night out on the town or if you have a day time sleep schedule). The apartment is all yours. Completely private. The kitchen is stocked with plates, silverware, cooking supplies and you are welcome to use anything in the kitchen including any food that is there. The backyard is shared by the building's 2 other tenants, but please go enjoy some time outside if its nice out. The downstairs of the apartment is in the basement with concrete floors which do not clean up to be sparkling and beautiful. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned between every guest but due to being a building from 1890 - it has some wear and is not a sparkling brand new construction home. I hope you understand :) The bedroom has no windows, which means no light comes in the morning... Guest access You'll have full access to the apartment, and the shared patio in the back. Other things to note 4 things to know about this property, before booking: 1) The building was built in 1890, it has had a number of renovations, but it is NOT new construction. There are parts that are OLD and we are doing our best to improve and renovate as much as we can within the budget of income from the property. 2) The building is located less than a block from the freeway. This makes the dirt and dusts MUCH worse around the building. You can NOT hear the freeway from in the building or the back patio but it does impact the dirt and dust. We frequently deep clean the property but it is an ongoing process. 3) Chicago has a RAT problem and Wicker Park is among the worst neighborhoods for rats. Chicago was named the #1 worst city for rats in the country. The issue of rats is NOT only occurring around this property. BE AWARE, you might see an occasional rat on the back patio or on the front sidewalk in the summer time. The city puts poison out regularly to try to combat the issue. 4) This unit has a spiral staircase. It has vertical openings. The spiral stairs are a fairly standard size for a compact space, however some people might feel that they are narrow. Therefore, some people might have trouble navigating the stairway. Please ensure you are comfortable with a spiral staircase prior to booking. Registration Details R19000042300
