The Loft2-Near Clarkson, SLU & SUNYs - Modern

At our clean and comfortable Loft suite, you will find yourself close to the colleges and downtown activities, while staying in a country setting on six acres of land, beautiful trees, dark, star-lit nights, and we have a swing set in the backyard. You will enjoy a completely private unit with its own private entrance and no shared spaces at all. Clarkson University is close enough to see from the property. E/V charger with 50amp 3 prong plug in parking area. (see picture) The space We are also 5 min away from SUNY Potsdam, 15 min from St. Lawrence University, and 20 min away from SUNY Canton. Each Loft unit has a fresh-air ventilation system (see details below). We adhere to a no-pet policy. We also do not house service animals (see below for details) The Loft 2 is our largest unit & is over the entire garage. Guests may notice minimal garage door noise. The Loft 2 was newly renovated in Fall 2020. It was re-designed and renovated specifically for the Airbnb traveler(s). Our LifeBreath ventilation system provides fresh outside air directly to each unit and exhausts the inside air directly to the outside. The volume of air in the entire unit changes approximately 2x in a 24-hour period. There is no cross-contamination of air inside the building. Per Airbnb guidelines, concerning service animals, this room is at our primary residence and is frequently used by persons who have allergies. The super hosts, Elisa and John have two other similar units and have been Airbnb hosts since August 2018. The Loft 2 has one king bed, two twin beds, a futon that can sleep one or two people, and two sofas that can be used as beds as well. The kitchenette has an electric cooktop, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. There is one 43" TV in the second floor sleeping area, and one 43" TV on the first floor as well. There is one full bathroom on the first floor. There is no cable subscription. LG Free TV is provided and has most major news sources, sports, and movies. Apple TV and other services are supported from guest's devices. High bandwidth wi-fi is available for streaming. We have a swing set in the backyard which you invite you to use. (see pictures in Backyard) If you cannot find the dates that you want, we also have two other listings in the same building. "The Loft 1" and "The Loft 3". All are very similar in size. Early check in time policy: 1) normal check in time is 3pm 2) early check-in must be approved in a message 3) cannot be determined until after previous guests leave 4) maximum early check in time is 2pm Late checkout time policy: 1) normal checkout time is 11am 2) late checkout must be approved in a message 3) must be requested at least 1 day prior to checkout 4) same-day late checkout request will not be considered 5) maximum late checkout is 12pm Guest access You will have your own apartment in a stand-alone garage next to our house. We have 6.5 acres of lawn, seasonal sheep, and we are only 5 walking minutes from the access point to Clarkson University's nature trail that has a mile-long path along the Raquette River. Other things to note Feel free to walk around the yard. In the Summer and Fall, we have sheep in the pasture. You may enter and pet them, or hang out with them. They love company.
