Students, working situations, or to relax as a long-term creative time in your private suite listening to the birds by the woods and pond, yet close to all Hudson Valley attractions, restaurants, cafes, antiques, art galleries, museums, small towns and cities. Hike, climb the nearby mountains and preserves. Walk or bike the Rail Trail to majestic Walkway Over the Hudson.... We will accommodate your needs. Parking inside the property. The space Spacious quiet private suite with full bathroom on second floor by stairs. Internet, small fridge and coffee maker included. Views of the woods and pond. From the first floor foyer convenient access to half bathroom and unique art gallery. Space is also suitable for special presentations and gatherings. During your stay Your hosts Elisa & Rob are here to help you enjoy your stay and can guide you as to where to go, what to see or do. With notice, they will also pick you up at the train station (Metro North-Poughkeepsie) or the bus station (Adirondack Trailways in New Paltz) for a reduced fee of $10. Rob could also drive you and be your guide in the region (fees mutually arranged). Other things to note Walk or bike the Rail Trail to majestic Walkway Over the Hudson to appreciate stunning views of the Hudson river and Catskill mountains. Stroll through college town New Paltz or funky town Woodstock. Visit the Dorsky Museum of Art, 1861 Vassar College and its collegiate gothic buildings, or enjoy an evening at the Bardavon Opera House. Canoe down Black Creek and enjoy the natural fauna and flora of the protected marshes. Dine at the local Zagat rated restaurants or discover the taste of the small microbreweries.
