The 3rd floor apartment is resident occupied and the 1st and 2nd floors consist of 2+ bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and LR solely for AirBNB guests. The space Overview & Story Welcome to the Honeysuckle Hideout, a classic 1890s victorian charm filled home with original details. This house got itʻs name because during the warmer months the exterior lattices are covered in fragrant honeysuckle. This home is used as a gathering space for my family for holidays, and special occasions. When we donʻt need the extra space we share it with guests like you who will care for it as if it is their own. The thoughtfully appointed home is over 100 years old and has a mix of antique and modern decor. Enter this lovingly cared for treasure from the wraparound porch. The classic center entrance hall with pocket doors opens to double parlors with corner fireplaces, and the spacious formal dining room with dinner seating for 6. The entrance hall also opens to the sun filled kitchen which has a 4 stool breakfast bar and a casual dining area overlooking the gardens and small pond. Kitchen- Has all of the cookware and dinner ware you would need to make dinner for a small group. Living Rooms- sofas, cozy chairs, books, playing cards and puzzles on the shelf and two fireplaces which unfortunately are not operable at this time. Dining room- Large table with seating for 6. Bathroom- Classic victorian bathroom with tub, shower and good lighting for makeup. Bedroom 1- Bedroom 1 contains a queen sized bed, smart tv, 2 bedside tables, a small dresser, 2 lamps a closet and a window seat. This bedroom also contains what we call the bonus room. The bonus room is part of bedroom 1 and contains a twin daybed, desk and office chair. The perfect spot for remote work. Bedroom 2- Bedroom 2 contains a queen sized bed, smart tv, 2 bedside tables, a small dresser, 2 lamps and a closet. Deck- Contains a covered swing chair, propane BBQ grill, and outdoor rug Back yard- Hammock, landscaping, fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a goldfish pond. Guest access Guests have access to the 1st and 2nd floors including the front porch, deck and back yard. The staircase, 2nd floor hallway, entryway backyard and front porch are shared with residents. No access will be permitted to the basement or third floor. The entryway closet is for the cleaning person/ maintenance person only. The second floor hallway closet is for guests and contains extra sheets and towels. Other things to note Sound- The church next door has a bell that rings on the hour. There is also noise from passing cars at night. Although we provide a white noise machine and earplugs, this home is not ideal for people who are very sensitive to noise. Shared Space- The resident upstairs shares a staircase with this Airbnb unit as well as the front entryway and the back yard. Everything else will be private. About the person on the 3rd floor- My mother Lorelle lives on the third floor and helps manage the Airbnb. She’s a warm and friendly person who enjoys gardening and cooking. She wants you to know not to worry about being noisy (unless it’s late at night) and that she wants you to have a great stay and make the place your home. She will never enter your space during your stay and is typically traveling on the weekends and at the house Monday-Friday.
