The space Our quiet neighborhood has great character, with many permanent residents. Mature Live Oak, Turkey Oak and Palm trees throughout our yard and street provide shade during the summer heat. We are a family with two small children so our house is designed to be both kid and adult friendly. Our house is colorful, comfortable, and whimsical. Amenities: - Linens are provided (sheets, bath towels, and beach towels). - The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, coffee maker/filters, spices, hand soap, dish detergent and paper towels. - We provide basic toiletries (soap, shampoo, toilet paper) and a hair dryer. - Our house offers an outdoor shower to rinse the sand from the beach. - There is a washer/dryer you are welcome to use, but please bring your own laundry detergent if planning to do multiple loads. - We have an abundance of books, games, and toys for all ages. - There is a pack-n-play (plus sheets) and high chair for little ones. - We have a large TV, but please note we do not have cable. You may access local tv stations on the TV through the antennae, and we have an HDMI cable you may use to plug into your own device to stream programs. We also have a DVD player and large library of movies. Guest access Guests may use any beach items (chairs, toys, bikes , etc) in the storage area downstairs. We have a gas grill you may use as well. Other things to note Our home is a 15 min walk or 5 min bike ride to the beach. There are sidewalks the whole way, but you please note you must cross the main road (Oak Island Drive) at the end of our street. We have a 2 seater Radio Flyer wagon for kids that guests may use. There is a security camera monitoring activity at the front door/porch.
