Maison de Terre Bed and Breakfast Green Room
Located on the outskirts of the quaint town of Cedaredge, on the southern slope of the Grand Mesa, Maison de Terre is a unique artisan-built adobe house constructed by the owners of natural and local materials. Our listing is for 2 guest sharing one room. For additional fees, we can accommodate up to four adult guests in two separate rooms. If you wish to rent the extra room with only 2 quests, please notify us using the "Contact Host" button. We welcome all quests and their pets. Breakfast is provide with your reservation. It will be served in your room or on the adjacent patio (weather providing). Do to Covid-19 restrictions, we are not offered self service use of our kitchen or laundry. If you need us to heat something up for you or wash a few of your clothes, let us know, and we can help. Our guests are our first priority. We are present as much as you would like us to be. Because of safety precautions related to Covid-19 we are asking our guests to wear masks whenever they need to be in public areas of our home or would like to communicate with us. Situated at 7000 feet, panoramic views from the house include three mountain ranges, the mesa, and with dark night skies, an unlimited galaxy. We offer the green room for our guests. It features a sandstone floor, plastered adobe and stone walls, an attached bathroom, and ceiling logs reclaimed from a local log cabin. The south wall, mostly windows opens with French doors to a private patio. In addition to the green room, if your group needs more space or beds, we offer the blue room as an add-on. Both rooms feature queen-sized beds. Expect to start your day with a superb home-cooked breakfast which is included in the cost of the room. We are located about 5 miles outside the town of Cedaredge, Colorado. Our closest neighbors are the wildlife like deer and turkey that pass through on a regular basis. We are centrally located to a number of natural wonders like the Grand Mesa, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River, and the San Juan Mountains just to mention a few. You will need a car to get around! In the winter 4 wheel drive is strongly recommended. We are close to hiking, canoeing, fishing, alpine skiing, cross country skiiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, biking, and river rafting. There is a 1/4 walking path on our land.
