Rent our entire house for your next family vacation, retreat or event. Includes event planning coordination, assistance with booking travel between Bocas and Panama City, surf boards, yoga mats, dining seating for 10, and catering services. This listing is for the entire bottom level of our house. It includes 3 private bedrooms (6 beds total). The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the other two bedrooms have their own private bathroom in the hallway. The three bedrooms can sleep up to 8 people. There is a kitchen and living room attached through an open-air hallway. There is access to our garden where we grow fresh vegetables and tropical fruits. There is a lawn for sunbathing or rinsing off after a surf session. The house is located on the main walking path on Isla Carenero, right on the beach but tucked into the jungle so it is quiet and tranquil. The house is updated with airconditioning, new beds and matresses in every room, and all of the necessary beach equipment you could need on vacation (snorkels, goggles, SUP, kayaks, and surf boards). On the upper level is your host and his two sweet dogs, always available to help keep you comfortable during your stay and give local recommendations. Our area of the island has many sandy swimming beaches, as well as a couple of beach-side restaurants (Bibi's on the Beach, Coquitos, and Leaf Eaters). On the weekends there is live music nearby at Bibis and the beaches have more people. During the weekdays, it's typically very quiet and peaceful at the house. Our house backs up to the undeveloped jungle, and you will see many wild birds and sometimes even sloths! The surf breaks closest to us by walking are Black Rock (5 minutes, great for beginners) or Carenero Point (10-15 minutes). You can take a water taxi to the other breaks on Bastimentos or Isla Colon Isla Carenero is just out of the bustle of Bocas Town on Isla Colon. It's a 3 minute boat ride by water taxi ($2 per person) to travel between Bocas Town and Carenero, where you can get dropped off right at our private dock. The Bocas Airport is on Isla Colon. When you arrive, we will meet you at the airport and show you how to get to the dock (4 minute drive, 10 minute walk) where you can take a water taxi to the house (3 minutes). To Bastimentos from our island it is a $5-$10 water taxi, about 5-8 minutes.
