Our lodge was built in 1947 as a family hunting lodge, it has been updated but the original lodge is still part of the home. A full breakfast is included, only staff is allowed kitchen use. We have acres to meander, and when it snows our own snow park, perfect for some light x country skiing sledding and snow ball fights! Please do not leave through the sliding glass door if you’re leaving for the day, the slider can’t be locked from the outside and leaves the whole house unsecured. Bears can open sliders. Do not leave the sliding glass door open with screen shut when leaving the property, the screen lock does not work and will leave the house unsecured. It is a small neighborhood with the nearest neighbor being about a half acre away. We live close enough to services either in Pioneer or Pine Grove, but far enough for peace of the Sierras. Quiet time is 10 pm weekdays, 11 pm weekends We do have bears, please do not leave food or drinks in your car, this includes ice chests, we can store your items inside.
