Enter the Homestead and discover beautiful traditional features that have been sympathetically restored, as an heirloom to a bygone era. Nestle into the cosy lounge spaces with the fire blazing, or gather with your favourites around the farm style dining table for a beautiful meal. Having been recently renovated, the heritage features are tastefully complimented with modern touches and staple items to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible! Across the single ground floor, the five bedrooms feature gorgeous antique furniture, homely furnishings and local artwork on the walls - with the flexibility to suit groups with various configurations. The master suite with king bed and three queen bedrooms are attached to ensuite bathrooms with luxury toiletries and rain showers, one bathroom has a bath and the fifth bedroom can be either a king bed or twin king single. Outside, dine on the verandah overlooking the snow capped skyline, or spread a picnic blanket on the expansive lawns with a book under the soaring oak trees. With natural healing beauty in every direction, enjoy getting lost in the wide open spaces and crisp alpine air. Riverfield Homestead can cater for groups of all sizes (up to ten guests) as a rural getaway - serving as the perfect retreat to explore the stunning alpine region, and hideaway in the warmth of classic homestead lodgings when the day is done. A note: Our rates are based on twin share in each room and vary depending on the number of guests being accommodated. When booking for 8 - 10 guests, access to the entire homestead will be available, whereas smaller groups will have access to one wing which includes all shared living areas. Please send us an enquiry with your group numbers and preferred dates, and we can chat through the best configuration. Guest access The property is accessed easily by car with a parking for up to five cars on the driveway. The homestead is located on the grounds of a working farm - the paddocks and cattle are nestled behind farm gates and access is not available to guests in the interest of safety. Many walks are available throughout the grounds and along the riverbanks, away from daily farm life. Other things to note Being a working farm, we are regrettably unable to accommodate pets. Children of all ages are welcome, we kindly ask that cots, highchairs etc are provided by guests. A stock of essential provisions will be available including linen & towels for all bedrooms, luxury toiletry items in the bathrooms, staple pantry items such as tea & coffee, Nespresso machine & pods, olive oil, salt & pepper.
