You will be surrounded by inviting restaurants, coffee shops, food trucks, parks, farmer’s market, breweries and unique boutiques everywhere. It is the perfect mix of a city with a small town community feel. For those of you traveling with kids, we have children books and toys in the closet. We also have the following upon request: Pack 'n Play and mattress with linen and highchair. You will only be 3.9 miles from downtown/Convention Center, 1.5 miles from the San Diego Zoo (and walkable to Balboa Park/Morley Field/Bird Park), 10-15 minutes from SeaWorld and 10-12 minutes from Coronado Beach. Other places of interest are the Gaslamp district, Petco Park, Seaport Village, Mission Bay, Little Italy, the Hotel Del Coronado, Horton Plaza, the Maritime Museum, Qualcomm Stadium & all the fun neighborhoods of Mission Hills, Hillcrest and Little Italy. This guest house is ideal for couples, a small family or business traveler. While visiting, enjoy the Samsung 50" Smart TV, central air, solid wood hardwood floors, spacious one bedroom with a king bed and a natural light pouring in from French doors that open up to a small balcony overlooking a skyline of mountains. The large modern bathroom has a double headed shower with a spacious bench inside the shower. If you have a lot luggage, no problem! There is a large walk in closet with abundant space to hang clothes and shelves to store your items. The living room and kitchen have an open room concept, the kitchen has ample counter space, a large island that seats 3 people and a washer & dryer within the unit. Attached to the kitchen are French doors that open up to a covered patio with a large rustic picnic table where you can sip your morning coffee or unwind at the end of the day with a glass of wine in hand. Also, if you prefer to stay in and cook, there is a BBQ and heater located on the patio to make your outdoor dining experience all the more enjoyable. If you’d rather get out and about instead of staying in and cooking, you will be walking distance from some of San Diego's best restaurants, cafes and breweries (Alexander's, One Door North, Del Sur, Waypoint Public, Dunedin, URBN, Breakfast Republic, Working Class, The Smoking Goat, Station Tavern, Influx, Eclipse, Madeline’s, Captain Kirk’s Coffee, Cardamom Cafe, The Taco Shop, Under Belly, Modern Times and Mike Hess breweries, as well as some fun shopping (Pigment, Gold Leaf, So Childish, Graffiti Beach, etc). Other things to note Street parking only. Always be on the safe side and lock car doors. Our cars are also on the street, very quiet street. Our front house renters park their car in garage below the Airbnb room. Please note they may use garage door early in morning or late evening.
