Our Peaceful Country Retreat is nestled within the very heart of nature. Located at the end of a basically private road, you will enjoy horses grazing the pasture behind the house and the surrounding pastures, beautiful blue herons which visit often, pileated woodpeckers, eastern bluebirds, ruby throat hummingbirds along with many other feathered friends and furry friends like rabbits, deer, red foxes which all cohabitate together and call our place home. The space Our place has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, on opposite ends of house, master bedroom has king bed and bath, 2nd bedroom has double bed. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, Keurig coffee maker, slow cooker, blender, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, some condiments and spices awaits the chef in you. Living room has large comfy sofa, oversized chair, recliner, Roku HDTV, a few choices in DVD's to watch, Wi-Fi internet for all your wireless needs. Dining room table can also be used as laptop workspace. Sit outside around table or fireplace, grill dinner and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Our location is ideal for all your adventures. Area beaches like Wrightsville Beach is 10-15 minutes away, our other beaches, Surf City Beach, 35 minutes away, Topsail Beach, North Topsail Beach are about 45 minutes away and Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Historic Fort Fisher, North Carolina Aquarium @ Fort Fisher 45 minutes away. ILM airport, UNCW, Historic Downtown, malls and shopping centers are all 10 -15 minutes away from us. Our property is located in an area where county water and sewer is not available. The property has a well and a septic tank on it. The well water is run thru a water softener and is safe to use & consume. During times of heavier rains the water will have a sulfur odor to it.
