Solitude on the Črchľa farm

Relax with us on the Črchľa farm in Podpoľaní, in solitude on a half-hectare plot at an altitude of 770 m above sea level and with amazing views of the surrounding hills, towns and the Low Tatras. The space You will be staying in a freshly and ecologically renovated house for a maximum of 5 adults plus children. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a bathroom with a toilet and a cozy living room with a kitchen. A stylish wood-burning stove will provide you with warmth. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with two large beds, a crib and a sofa. You will appreciate the huge window overlooking the surrounding hills and meadows. The likelihood of observing wild animals such as roe deer, deer or foxes is almost guaranteed. You can also help yourself with our binoculars. During the reconstruction, we used only natural and ecological materials. The interior plasters are clay, the exterior lime-hemp. Under the roof there is hemp insulation, on the walls again from wood fiber. From the taps, water will flow from our well, which is up to 100 meters below the surface. The interior is further dominated by a wooden staircase as well as a traditional clay floor on the ground floor. You simply will not find any polystyrene or other chemical materials in our house and it will only be known in your sleep. You will sleep under duvets made of natural materials (feathers, wool, hemp) that we have dressed in linen sheets. There is also an original bread oven that we have sensitively reconstructed. You can bake your own bread or prepare a perfect roasted lunch. There is another older house on the property (which is awaiting reconstruction in 2023-24) and a stone stable for animals. Guest access You will be completely alone during your stay. Other things to note As part of your stay, we offer you contact with our animals - goats, sheep, chickens, our two cats. And if you dare, our bees too:) Plus, without the need for further payment, you have all our products available from us, such as fresh eggs from our hens, fresh goat's milk and cheese/yogurt (depending on the season), fruit from our trees (cherries, apples, plums, ringlots, mirabelles), vegetables from our field and greenhouse, as well as our plum brandy (legally distilled:). We also support local products, so you will have coffee roasted in Podpoľanie - Frišná káva, which you can grind on our hand grinder. There are only two cordial neighbors within a few tens and hundreds of meters. You will probably meet one of them as they take care of our animals in the morning and evening. Otherwise, you'll be all alone. Access by car can sometimes be difficult, you need to follow the instructions on how to get to us, there are several roads leading to us and you need to choose the right one.
