The guest house accommodates up to 14 guests, including children. It features four guest rooms and an attic room, as well as a spacious hall on the first floor where guests can unwind. The hall includes a smart TV with Netflix, a smart music center that connects to your smartphone, free Wi-Fi 5G, and board games. The house also boasts a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials: dishes, glasses, kitchen utensils, an electric stove, a large refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, and an electric kettle. You’ll have everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals, and there is always hot water available, which is of very high quality and safe to drink without boiling. For relaxation, guests can enjoy a sauna or hot tub, and afterward, cool off in the pond near the guest house. If you’re interested in sports, there are sports fields next to the guest house - basketball (with one hoop), football (smaller than a standard field), and volleyball. All these amenities are exclusively for your group, ensuring that you won’t be disturbed by other guests. The property is fenced, and the owners live nearby in another house and are available if needed. Whether it’s raining or sunny, you can enjoy the weather comfortably on the glass terrace of the guest house. A grill with accessories is also provided for your use. Situated in a rural setting surrounded by meadows and forests, the guest house is located 3 km from Ikšķile railway station, grocery stores, Zilie Kalni (Blue Hills) Nature Park, and the Daugava River. In the area, you can find a variety of entertainment options, such as cycling in the Zilie kalni (Blue Hills) Nature Park during the summer, skiing in the winter, and enjoying various water activities on the Daugava River. The following amenities are included at no additional charge: 1. A meat preparation area near the house, complete with a grill, skewers, fuel, and coals. 2. One sauna visit (approximately 2.5 hours) is free of charge. An additional sauna visit, even if a booking is made for several days, will incur a cost of 50 EUR. 3. The kitchen has a microwave, pots, a pan, and an electric stove. While there is no oven, a large refrigerator with a freezer is provided. 4. Coffee, tea, and cooking oil are not included, but there is an electric kettle, high-quality drinking tap water, a coffee mug, and basic condiments such as salt, sugar, and pepper are provided. Please note that bottled water and a coffee machine are not available. 5. A variety of cutlery and dishes are available for up to 14 people and more, including different-sized plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, and two cutting boards. The tables are covered with dark gray plastic for easy cleaning. A dishwasher and detergent tablets are provided for your convenience. 6. A portable music system that connects to smartphones via Bluetooth, a TV with internet, Netflix, and 5G internet access. 7. Bed linen and towels (one large and one small towel per guest) are provided. 8. Outdoor sports facilities include a streetball court, a volleyball court, and a smaller-than-standard football court, available during the warm season with balls provided. 9. Four sun loungers, two poufs, two hammocks for use during the warm season, and a pond for swimming. All amenities listed above are available at no extra charge. You will have exclusive access to the guest house and its grounds, ensuring no other guests will disturb you. The territory is fenced, and the hosts live approximately 100 meters from the guest house. To ensure clarity and your comfort, we are providing the guest house rules: 1. Parties are allowed on the condition that noise outside the house is prohibited after 11 pm, except for June 23 (Līgo day) and December 31 (New Year's Eve). 2. Pets, including small dogs and well-behaved dogs, are prohibited. Permission will not be granted under any circumstances. 3. Fireworks may only be used on January 1 at a location designated in advance by the hosts. They are not permitted to be used on any other day. 4. Guests wash dishes (a dishwasher is available) and generally clean their rooms during their stay. Therefore, no extra cleaning fee is charged. 5. The beds are made. You do not need your bed linen. Bed linen is changed for each guest company no more than once every 3 days for ecological reasons, unless there is a special need to do it more often. Towels are replaced more often as necessary. The staff washes the bed linen and towels. 6. Hosts/owners possess the right to visit guests to check compliance with rules and cleanliness. 7. Only registered guests may be on the premises and territory (the number of guests specified in the reservation may not be exceeded). Changing guests during the stay is not allowed. No additional guests are permitted on the house and surrounding territory, regardless of whether they stay overnight. 8. Board games, barbeque, sports fields, and sports balls are available at no cost but should be requested in advance from the hosts. 9. Guests are welcome to a complimentary one-time sauna visit (wood-fired, with the option to pour water on the stones) lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Guests are responsible for heating the sauna, which takes about 1 hour to prepare. The sauna's maximum allowable temperature is 80 degrees. However, any subsequent visits, even if guests have made a reservation for several days, will incur an additional charge of 50 EUR. Payment for this service is required to be made to the hosts in advance. 10. The outdoor hot tub near the house is available upon request for an additional charge of 130 EUR. Requests and payments via bank transfer should be made no later than five days prior. The preparation process, which includes filling and heating the tub with wood, requires a minimum of 12 hours. The owners are responsible for heating the hot tub. The hot tub remains warm for approximately three hours. Guests may use it as long as they find it comfortable. To ensure the hot tub is ready at your preferred time, hosts should be informed of the specific day and time guests wish to use it. The water is always clean and fresh. 11. It is advisable to bring your room slippers, as well as your rubber shoes, for visiting the sauna and hot tub. Blowable mosquito repellent will also be useful (special candles are not). 12. Please watch the children, especially near the water. The hosts do not supervise the children daily or during swimming and are not responsible for possible accidents. The swimming area is not fenced off. 13. Dress warmly. There is no fireplace. Heating will not be available in summer until October 1. Hot water from the tap and shower is always available, all year round. 14. If the number of guests does not reach 8, then the attic floor (also called the third floor and the fifth room) is unavailable. 15. The number of guests is calculated by the number of guests who have the right to be on the territory, not by the number of guests who stay overnight in the house. If the number of guests is less than the number of guests booked, the difference will not be refunded. 16. The guest house does not have air conditioning. 17. Fishing is prohibited in the pond at the guest house. 18. Candles are not permitted in the guest house due to safety concerns. 19. Should you wish to extend your stay beyond the standard time (from 3 pm to 12 pm on the day of check-out), an additional fee of EUR 35 per hour will be charged. This extension must be requested in advance. 20. Should the number of guests exceed the amount specified in the reservation, including children, an additional fee is required: 40 EUR per child per day, and 50 EUR per adult per day. Any extra guests must be declared and their fees settled before the event. Note that for groups exceeding 10 people, an attic/mansard floor (fifth room) is available, accessible via a steep, foldable staircase. 21. The construction and furnishing of the guest house and the surrounding area were completed without any European funds or support measures. We kindly ask you to appreciate the effort the hosts have put into establishing and upkeeping this establishment. You are welcome! Guest access The entire house will be available for your use, even if you are alone. However, if you choose to stay alone, you will not have access to all the bedrooms; still, the entire house will be at your disposal. The house is intended for one company or family only—no strangers will be present. You will also enjoy one hectare of landscaped grounds for your relaxation and entertainment. The hosts live about 100 meters away in a separate house. Please appreciate this unique opportunity, as it is quite rare. Other things to note The maximum number of guests, including children, is 14 people. We do not divide guests into adults and children - one person = one guest. Small dogs are also animals. Animals are not allowed in the guesthouse, regardless of their size. Additional guests, even if they do not stay overnight, are not allowed in the guesthouse. A hot tub costs an additional 130 EUR. A one-time sauna visit (approximately 2.5 hours) is included in the price. A sauna visit on another day is for an additional fee of 50 EUR, even if the reservation is made for several days. The attic/mansard floor (also called the 5th room) is accessed by a steep folding staircase.
