Large room in the daylight basement of a quiet and clean home. It is partially underground which helps keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The kitchen and bathroom and back entrance are shared with one full time, clean, and professional tenant, who’s been there for four years now. The laundry and wrap around yard are shared with the full time tenant and the upstairs monthly rental. Close to everything Tacoma has to offer but enough off the main path to enjoy peace and quiet. The space Nice, clean home close to everything Tacoma has to offer. Cheap Uber to many popular locations including Emerald Queen Casino, the Tacoma Dome, Lemay Car Museum, The Museum of Glass, Downtown Tacoma, and more! We use non perfume non dye detergent for the guests and sanitize everything in the room between guests. High speed internet(up to 250gb/s) WiFi also included. Large yard with a couple of fruit trees and views of the mountains and the city is great for relaxing in. There was private parking but a neighbors tree fell and until the rest of the tree is cut down I don’t want to open the parking area. There is one dog on the premises, she stays in the long term tenants room. She doesn’t come out unattended and is a very controlled dog but just an allergy warning. Guest access This is just enough off the beaten path that walking or biking to downtown wouldn’t be ideal but Ubers are cheap and it’s a 5 minute drive to the heart of downtown Tacoma. The house is also close to the backroads that go straight to puyallup. Parking is currently street parking only as the aforementioned tree is still there but hopefully it will be dealt with soon. During your stay If you need anything please let us know. We are friendly people, having been bartenders most of our lives we are used to talking to people and we live not too far away. We’ll be as available or unavailable as you’d like for suggestions or anything you might need. With the exception of a weekly message or so, to make sure that you are enjoying your stay, we have very minimal interaction with our guests, unless you reach out to us. Other things to note We supply a small starting amount of necessities to begin the rental with, things such as detergent, shampoo, conditioner, cooking oil, seasonings, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. After that you will have to refill what you need as you wish. The room is in the basement under our monthly Airbnb rental but it’s a very peaceful neighborhood and usually fairly quiet. The cabinets and fridge are shared kitchen spaces but they are split in half and all labeled to avoid any issues. The utensils and plates etc are shared.
