Home away from home 4
I purchased this 1920s five bedroom home in tree lined Cleveland Heights in 2015. Since acquiring the house I have spent months restoring and renovating this comfortable family home. Soon after moving in I began to host guests from around the world. I purchased this 1920's five bedroom home in tree lined Cleveland Heights in 2015. Since acquiring the house I have spent months restoring and renovating this comfortable family home. Soon after moving in I began to host guests from around the world which suits me just fine because I came from Belgrade, Serbia in 1997 to the US. I know what is like to be away from home. As a host my goal is to make travelers feel welcome. The house is near CWRU, University Hospital and Cleveland Clinic and it is 20 min drive to downtown Cleveland. It is also conveniently located one block from Cleveland bus line. The room is located at the 3rd floor. A guest will have a private bathroom, but share the first floor lavatory. A guest is welcome to use the fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, dining room, porches and the sun-room. Off street parking is available in the drive. Please note that you might have to move another guests' car out of the driveway or another guest has to move your car out of the driveway in the morning. I work during the day, but I will be available to greet you and help you settle in whenever you arrive. I know Cleveland well and am happy to suggest sights you might not have seen on trip advisor. I am available via text or phone during your stay to answer any questions you might have about the house or the neighborhood. The house is a quick walk to the Cedar Lee and Coventry business districts of Cleveland Heights where restaurants, theaters, libraries and boutiques abound. The Heights, with it's proximity to University Circle/Cleveland's cultural hub and home to the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Western Reserve Historical Society, Museum of Contemporary Art, Case Western Reserve University and University Hospital. On the hill between us and University Circle is Little Italy and Lakeview Cemetery where John D. Rockefeller, President Garfield and Eliot Ness are buried. Cleveland Heights itself is a park an there are numerous parks for recreation nearby. 32 bus line is one block from the house. Travelers arriving via air can take the red line train from the airport and connect to 32 at University-Cedar transit stop.
