Description

I'm at Travessa dos Hibiscus, 650 meters from downtown. Large studio-style cottages, bed and kitchen in one space (basic utensils, I have more if necessary), private bathroom. Bagged Springs Double Mattress. Patio with table, chairs and hammock. Wooden garden and indoor parking. I provide bed and bath linens that I change weekly. Air conditioning! I have 5G and 2G Wi-Fi. I don't have a TV. Cats are present in the garden. The Timbus live on the property and eliminate venomous animals. They do not carry rabies. The space I'm at Travessa dos Hibiscus, 650 meters from downtown. Large studio-style cottages, double bed and kitchen in one space. There is no separate room. There's a bathroom separated by a door inside the chalet. Double pocket-sprung mattress, bed, nightstands and masonry countertop. A complete trousseau is provided and for longer stays, changed weekly for free; I have blankets in case the guest needs them. Basic kitchen utensils, I have more if needed; I don't have a microwave, pressure cooker, or air fryer. Patio with table, chairs and hammock. Very wooded garden with native plants and trees, fruit trees, and others. Spacious indoor parking, the trees provide shade for much of the day. Dual inverter split air conditioning. I have 5G and 2G Wi-Fi. I don't have a TV. Outdoor cold water shower present in the garden. There is an outdoor clothesline at the back of the cottages, but if it's raining, I have a covered laundry area that guests can access, as long as they don't let Coxinha (the almost blind kitten) escape into the parking area. Laundry service for a small fee. I can provide water filtered through a clay filter at no additional cost. Cats present in the garden. Guests may not like or want to interact, but if they do not tolerate their presence or have an allergy or phobia to cats, it is best not to book here. They usually don't enter the cottages, especially if they feel they're not welcome, but I can't guarantee they won't enter the cottages if the door is open. I've never seen it, but I've had reports from some visitors. Animals are unpredictable, it can happen. They will sleep on the tables, balcony chairs, or entry carpet. If this bothers you, it's best not to choose this property. You can see marmosets and the white-eared possum (timbu): they are not rats, they are great eliminators of venomous animals. They do not carry rabies. Bats, frogs and non-venomous snakes, geckos, calangos and iguanas can be seen on the property, as well as some insects. Guest access Parking, garden, outdoor shower, clothesline, the entire corridor leading to the cottages and the owner's house, and the interior of the gatil if desired. Other things to note The Hibiscus Pipa Chalets are not an inn: I do not provide breakfast, daily cleaning, I am not a formal receptionist. I don't go into the cottages unless it's an emergency. My proposal is to offer affordable, minimalist, safe and comfortable lodging so that guests can rest, save on restaurants and park their car in a spacious, indoor place and explore the city. Only guests on the reservation can enter the property, and it is a family environment. I'm not downtown, the location can be viewed before booking, I can't do anything about it. Pipa is a hillside location with uneven or nonexistent sidewalks.
