Set up on a hill in stunning countryside and on a working sheep farm, you are sure to see plenty of wildlife and beautiful night skies while in a location just 30 minutes from the Lakes, Dales and seaside. A small site for a relaxing getaway. The space Our luxurious warm and cosy glamping pods are most definitely a home from home experience. The pods are fully contained with their own kitchen area and bathroom suites, supplied with underfloor heating. Within the pods there is a seating area/ sofa bed for guests to relax and watch TV, or glass doors and outdoor space if you prefer to listen to nature and watch the world pass by. Guest access We are a working farm, so we are happy for you to watch us at work, however this must be done so from the pod site to ensure the safety of both our guests and Farmers. The pods have their own fenced area with plenty of space around them and you might even have sheep and lamps to peer at you over the fence. There is so much to see and do in the area. We are a family run working farm, so our fields are full of animals and wildlife so you might spot some amazing sights. We regularly see Little owls and Barn owls around the farm, pheasants, deer, bats and many others. It’s not just the wildlife that you can see from the pod site, we have the Settle to Carlisle railway line running along the border of our land and although it is a quiet line it is a regular route for some impressive steam trains and the glamping pods are the perfect place to view them! There is a network of public footpaths all around and we are happy to point you in their direction for some great walks. Situated between the historic city of Lancaster, the Lake District and the stunning Yorkshire dales you need only travel less than 30 minutes in either direction to reach any of these places. There is so much to see and do in the area - fishing, walking, watersport, climbing, diving, skiing, wildlife oasis, soft play, historical sites, open farms or you could just use the time to relax in the peace and quiet. Outdoor built in fire pit/BBQ area exclusively for your use. We also have a new children’s play area at the base of the pod site as well as a box of outdoor games and as there are currently only 2 glamping pods it is nice and quiet. Other things to note Dogs are permitted but if you have more than one, please check before booking, there is a £10 per dog per stay charge. We kindly ask that they do not sit on the bed or sofa and that care is taken to wipe their feet on entry (we provide dedicated dog towel to help with this) We know that muddy boots are inevitable in the countryside, so we provide a covered outdoor space and boot mat for you.
