Walk the beautiful grounds and admire all the flower beds 2. Breath in the fresh air, hear the birds and the frogs each day 3. Play on the large lawn for team SPORTS volleyball, soccer, baseball, badminton, and croquet 4. Go on the TRIATHLON course {Swim the pond ( 175 ft), run/jog the circuit 5 times (10 miles), bike the country roads ( 25 miles)}. 5. Climb the boulders and ravines 6. Admire the many flower gardens with 300 specimen bushes and trees planted. 7. Float and swim in the pond and row the boat (lifejackets provided) 8. Swim in the outdoor saltwater pool with water toys, floaters, and tubes. 9. Warm up to fire with our fire pits. 10. Barbecue on the propane grill. 11. Sit in our super comfortable rocking chairs admiring the grounds. 12. Bathe in the large indoor jacuzzi. ( toiletries provided) 13. Cook in the Chef's kitchen with just about every gadget, pot and pan. ( gas cooktop and electric oven) 14. Use the extensive spice and tea cabinet, coffee grinder, and coffee maker. This charming cosy home was designed by Royal Barry Wills, a famous American architect and a master of traditional Cape Cod-style homes, in the 1950’s a friend of Frank Lloyd Wright. There is something for everyone here! Outdoor activities for adults and children include VOLLEYBALL badminton, croquet, soccer, football, horseshoe rings, HIKING and JOGGING around the pond, horse paddocks, and wooded trails. The outdoor games are provided and stored in the back of the house's small shed. Help yourself. Bring your BIKES to ride along charming country roads just out of the driveway. An assortment of TOYS (puzzles, card games, monopoly, building blocks, hula hoops) is for your use. Sorry, NO pets in the house or garage as we have family who have allergies. No SMOKING is allowed in the house, garage, pool house, or any building and within 150 feet of any structure. Due to Covid, large parties are not allowed by Airbnb regulations. Guest access The 3-car garage is turned into the activity family room. Inside this activity room, for your use are sports equipment, toys, rain boots and ponchos. The pool house has floats for all ages for your use The washing machine and dryer with the detergent is available for your use. The outside firepits have stacked up pine wood for your use. Please extinguish completely 100% before leaving. The propane grill is for your use. Within 15 minutes drive are 3 must-visits. 1. 18-hole championship public golf at Heritage House in Charlton Ma 2. Artisan microbrewery at the treehouse brewery 3. Old Sturbridge Village (largest New England outdoor museum) Guests can use the rowing boat in the pond ( depth of 9 feet). Please use LIFE JACKETS (4 for adults and 3 for kids). Please SHOWER and USE the TOILET prior to swimming in the pond or pool. Use any of these gathering spaces: 1. pub piano room with wood fireplace. 2. blue family room by the kitchen with gas fireplace. 3. upstairs family room 4. garden room 5. converted 3-car garage family room Bring slippers to use in the house and 4 pairs of shoes ( 2 sandals one for the front door and the other for the back door), a flip flop for the pool, light hiking shoes for sports and hiking in the woods Bring your BEACH towels, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, INSECT spray, flip flops, SWIMSUIT, goggles and cap for the pool. Also bring RAIN GEAR and rain boots, light HIKING shoes with long pants, TOYS, games, outdoor sports equipment, and puzzles. Bring paper goods large trash bags, paper towels, saran wrap, baggies quart and gallons, aluminium foil, paper napkins, paper plates and cups, plastic utensils). We have teabags, salt, pepper, and various spices, for your use. There are excellent grocery stores 10 minutes from the home Big Bunny, Big Y, Stop and Shop and Shaws. Instacart is offered.
