Our cabin sits on a private 5-acre parcel within a 340-acre preserve, with 2+ miles of Daniel Boone National Forest frontage and direct access to the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway for off-roading. Explore peaceful creeks, ponds, hiking trails, and wildlife. Enjoy a creekside soaking tub and waterfront deck—just a 20-minute drive to the climbing, hiking, and dining of Red River Gorge! While 4x4 vehicles are not required, low-clearance vehicles are not recommended. Weather Conditions: It is extremely rare, but after unusually heavy rainfall, the creek crossings may become temporarily unsafe. Our onsite caretaker, Jon, monitors conditions closely and will notify guests in the unlikely event that access could be affected. Connectivity: Though you’ll feel secluded and off-grid, you’re still just 20 minutes from all the food, fun, and trailheads the Red River Gorge area has to offer. Weddings & Events: Punkin Hollow Resort is also a great setting for weddings, retreats, and events.
