The space The Cottage is on our family's 150-acre historic property. *We are a pet friendly listing but accept small and medium sided dogs only. We cannot accommodate high shedding dogs, unfortunately. Please send us a message to discuss bringing your pet before booking.* There is one downstairs bedroom with a king bed, two chairs, a closet, and chest storage. Upstairs, there is a queen bedroom with a closet, chair, and chest storage and a twin (xl) room with a closet and trunk storage. Downstairs you will find a half bathroom and a full bathroom. The full bathroom with a bathtub and shower has all the basics: shampoo, conditioner, soap, makeup wipes, and a hairdryer. The kitchen has a refrigerator with a freezer, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, a full-size oven, and a four-burner electric cooktop. It is fully outfitted with a toaster, blender, cookware, utensils, and plenty of plates, glasses, and silverware. There is also a coffee set up with a drip coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, and fresh whole beans from Richmond roaster Blanchard’s coffee. The living room has a gas fireplace, cozy sofa, and several chairs - a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and a book, or cocktail hour with friends. There is a 40" HDTV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Fubu with the Amazon Fire remote. (Guests will need to log into their own accounts.) There is WiFi available through our satellite dish. You’ll also find a Victrola vinyl player with a set of vintage records. We hope you turn on the tunes and make yourself at home! The formal dining room seats six and there is also a folding table with six chairs located in the mudroom for informal outdoor dining. The front porch has two rockers and a small table for your morning coffee or evening beverages. The backyard now boasts a bonfire pit with six chairs and a charcoal grill! And you'll often spot deer playing in the front yard just under the pear tree! There is a laundry room available for your use and you'll find fluffy, clean linens and towels upon your arrival. Guest access The Cottage at Belle Haven is located on over 150 acres of a private family property that is in use. You may see cars coming and going up the driveway! You have access to the entire cottage, which is privately set apart on the property and you are welcome to make use of the lawn surrounding the cottage, but please do not venture beyond the fence or wander into the woods! For your safety, the woods are off-limits.
