The space Our home is a 5 minute drive to Cornell, 10 minutes drive to half a dozen waterfalls and hiking trails and conveniently located on the Cayuga Wine Trail. We have 2 bedrooms available for 2 guests for a long term stay (up to a semester) a sitting room and a full bathroom for your private pied-e-terre, and weather permitting sit on the deck and watch the duffers on the 8th hole of the Country Club course. Shampoo, conditioner & hair dryer available. Play ball with our Boston Terrier, Frodo; read a book in your sitting room or our living room, or just vegetate in our secluded but centrally located home. Public transportation is conveniently accessible, or borrow one of our bikes and explore Cornell's Campus. The price is $1274 per person per month, during the year. We are obligated to collect a 3% County Occupancy tax and 8% NY State Sales tax. We ask you to have sufficient cash or a personal check available since these 2 items are not covered in Airbnb's service fee. We will work out a special price for long term stays. Arriving to Ithaca by bus or air? We will pick you up at the airport or bus station for $10.00. The bus to Cornell stops 500 feet away from our house. Other things to note Directions - coming through Binghamton on Route 81. So, you exit Rte. 81 at Whitney Point. Then follow signage to Route 79 Ithaca. As you approach Ithaca, look for Six Mile Creek Winery and turn right at blinking light, Pine Tree Rd. (about half a mile from WInery). Take that road past traffic light to blinking light (rte 366, Dryden Rd.) ad turn right. Go to next traffic light and turn left (Caldwell Rd.). take that road to one lane bridge and turn right after crossing bridge (Warren Rd.) Turn left on Roat Rd. and left again on Blackstone. Go to dead end sign. Our mail box (202) is on left but you have to turn right onto gravel driveway past the last visible house on right.
