Morningside room in Lovely Cape

Our lovely Cape style home in a very quiet neighborhood houses two rooms for rent. The Morning-side, queen size bed, super comfy! Bathroom is shared, if both guest rooms are occupied. Lovely gardens, refreshing pool and hot tub for guests use early morning swim or late night dip. The space Beautifully situated private neighborhood location with lovely landscape and relaxing oasis gardens. Above ground pool, and hot tub for use. Home sits in a neighborhood but feels like you are in another world when you enter the back yard! Two private bedrooms on second floor of house both available for rent. Both rooms have a comfy queen size bed. Additional guests can be accommodated for an additional fee, we have another room on the first floor , just contact us for availability. Private full bath on second floor. Bathroom is shared if rooms occupied by separate parties. Air conditioning. Use of kitchen or outdoor grill. Relax after a day of site seeing in the Hudson valley, hiking or biking the many trails available in our area. Hudson river views and boating are available close by. Nearby towns, Hudson, Millerton, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, and Woodstock, offer great antique shops. Tinker Tubing is great fun on the Esopus river, just down route 28 in Phoenicia. Festival of the Voice held in August is a great musical event to take part in. Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck offers many events throughout the year listed on their website. Harvey Fites acoustical stone structure offers many musical events and a great place for a summer dinner picnic. Fall brings beautiful foliage as well as apple, pear and raspberry picking, Lots of local farms and produce available. If you love to ski, there are great ski areas with 45 minutes in the Catskills or Berkshire mountains then relax in the hot tub after a great day outdoors. Brochures and maps available of things to do and places to eat. Lovely restaurants in town, or only 6 miles away in neighboring Rhinebeck. Graduates of the culinary school provide us with many different ethnic gourmet choices. Amtrak stop in nearby Rhinecliff, Trailways buses stop in nearby Kingston. Local colleges include, Bard Fisher Performing Arts Center, Vassar, Marist, Dutchess Community, and the Culinary Institute. Local retreat centers, Omega and Linwood both located in nearby Rhinebeck. Tanglewood outdoor concerts are only an hour away in the Berkshire mountains Guest access For our guests exclusively, welcomed to use the garden area, pool and hot tub. Other things to note Four-Year-old terrier mix puppy, a covid rescue! shares the space with all guests. Loveable and very friendly.
