3rd floor flat, Queen street west, Toronto

Want to stay in an original Parkdale Victorian house, in trendy Queen Street West? Well you have come to the right place; our third floor flat. We are a working family and are friendly, creative artists and University student, who enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Its not fancy, but we are keeping it real, and affordable. Lots of artwork around the house, hardwood floors, and some minor renovations being done in parts. Close to transit, Lake Ontario, HIgh Park, and downtown. The space The third floor flat is nice and clean with hardwood floors. There are 2 rooms; the sitting room/kitchen, is separated by a door to the bedroom. We could make it into 2 bedrooms if need be, we could add an air mattress. You have your own bathroom on the second floor. We have a gate that can block 3rd floor staircase, to stop our 2 cats from going up to flat if desired. The kitchen has all the utensils you will need. And we have clean sheets, blankets, towels, etc. We provide you with coffee, or tea, or whatever you want us to get in for you, just let us know. Guest access Entrance to flat is through our house front door, up to the third floor. You are welcome to chill in our backyard, hang out on front porch, or wander through our house if you need to find us. Please remove your shoes upon entry. During your stay We would love to help you with anything. We are native Torontonians and know the city really well. We like meeting people, and have travelled a lot ourselves, staying at air bnb's! We are used to the shared house model, and welcome interaction with guests. Please don't be a stranger and approach us for anything! We can give you a tour of Parkdale, just ask! Other things to note We are very friendly and easy going. We are both visual artists, and educators, and work/teach at major art institutions in the city, with studios downtown. Our daughter is in university, taking environmental and Indigenous studies, but also loves the arts and dance. Our Victorian house is circa 1892, original to Parkdale, with many of its original features, we are currently renovating/restoring it, so please excuse the renovations. The house is full of original art by many artists, including ourselves. We have 2 cats, but can block them from going up to the third floor with a baby gate upon request. The tap water is great to drink, and we discourage single use plastic water bottles.
