Riverside Mona Marie, A comfy cabin on the Umpqua

Cabin on the banks of the N. Umpqua River. Quiet, comfy, space with bathroom/shower. Great for hikers, fisherman, nature lovers, adventurers or folks that need a quiet retreat. The space Our 1.5 acre yard has multiple eclectic garden spaces. We have a dog and an outside cat, so your dog must be cat friendly. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed with easy access to both the river and Whistlers Bend Park. There is a sheep farm nearby, good bird watching and star gazing. We have Wi-Fi but it doesn't always work. There is a great little coffee shop in Glide with Wi-Fi. Bring your hiking boots, fishing poles, kayaks (life jackets) or bikes ... a great place to use them all! The area includes miles of hiking trails, fly fishing only waters, national class disc golf within 2 miles, over 20 wineries in the area, many beautiful waterfall hikes nearby and an hour and a half from Crater Lake National Park. We have a cooler and ice available for your use upon request and a riverside fire pit when the season/weather permits. Guest access Your space in the cabin has a porch, one room and a bathroom. Both rooms have locks. Your room has a queen bed, access to a cot, a dresser, a closet, 2 rocking chairs, sporadic wi-fi. There is a microwave, coffeemaker and small refrigerator. This is a place to rediscover nature and slow down your pace. Other things to note We have a dog named Cedar and an outdoor cat named Winston. Turkey and deer frequently wander our yard. Depending on the season you may find hummingbirds, osprey, acorn woodpeckers and many other birds. 2-3 different types of owls can frequently be heard in the silence of the evening. The star gazing is a real treat. We respect our wildlife and expect you to also.
