The Deanery - Grafton Vermont

Welcome to The Deanery in Historic Grafton! Located in a great spot, less than 1/10 of a mile (a two-to-three-minute walk) from the Grafton Inn! Grafton is a quaint, quintessential town that makes for a great place to relax with family and friends. There is a local market, pub, and the Grafton Ponds - all within walking distance. Check out our feedback to hear from others who have enjoyed The Deanery! We also offer discounts for weekly stays and returning guests. Please ask. The space The Deanery is located in Grafton Village. It's a short walk to the Grafton MKT, Phelps Barn Pub, and all that Grafton has to offer. The Grafton Ponds are only 1/2 mile away! If you want to relax and unwind, Grafton is the perfect place to be. However, if you want to venture out, you are within driving distance to many cool places. We love to visit local restaurants & breweries, fly fishing locations, ski mountains, local shops, and so much more! The home was built in the 1850s and is listed on the National Historical Registry. We 're thankful to be part of such a special place. For your use are 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, a yard to play in, and an amazing glassed-in porch. From the front yard, you can hear the Saxtons River that runs through town. We have most of the amenities you would enjoy at home, and just know you will be comfortable here:) You can even use your own userid & password for the available streaming services and cozy up on the couch to watch a movie. We do allow dogs if they are house trained, but no cats please. Just pick up after your pup. We are happy to answer questions! Other things to note Grafton has little-to-no cell reception unless you have a local carrier, or AT&T. You should be able to do VoIP, if your carrier allows, through our Wi-Fi. There is also Wi-Fi at the MKT and Phelps Barn Pub. We have all the things there that you would typically have in your home, as we like to have stuff here when we are here. So, feel free to use any of the supplies in the house. You are welcome to any of the stuff in the kitchen, too. You can even use your own userid & password for the available streaming services and cozy up on the couch to watch a movie! We have tennis racquets on the porch as well as croquet. There is a pickleball court down the street - we have the gear on the porch. The yard is a great place to hang out. We love listening to the river, grilling out and having fun! There are lots of games and puzzles, DVDs, and beach towels. We have a gas and charcoal grill in the garage. Forgot something? The MKT is a hop, skip and jump away, and has lots of items.
