Located in a quiet safe neighborhood, our spacious urban retreat is your perfect home away from home. Its clean and beautiful, just minutes away from the airport, and is ideal for weekend getaways, family get-togethers, business travel, or extended stays over 30-days. Play in the fenced backyard, or just relax under the shade of the front porch with our custom-made swings. If you want to adventure outdoors, hike some beautiful trails, or visit downtown, we’re a short drive away. The space Welcome to our Spacious Urban Retreat! Our home away from home will be your perfect home away from home. Built almost 100 years ago, this 2,000 sq ft home has much of its original 1925 charm and beauty, combined with recent renovations that bring in modern-day comforts and conveniences. The living and dining room feature large picture windows, and original built-ins which showcases the contemporary furnishings and decorative art. Dim the recessed lights and enjoy live Samsung TV or stream your favorite movie or TV series on the 55" SmartTV. In fact, you can do that on any of our 4 additional 32” SmartTVs. The formal dinning room seats 6 adults comfortably and is adjacent and open to the living room and kitchen so everyone can gather and interact together. And speaking of the kitchen, it’s all gourmet at heart, and was designed to focus on the fun and love of food, prepping, and cooking. We've outfitted the entire kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and gorgeous granite countertops. We even restored the original charm of the cozy little nook area to enjoy your meals. We recognize that sleep, rest, and recovery are important to everyone’s well-being and happiness, so we have optimized the sleep environments with relaxing pillow-top mattresses, covered in high quality Egyptian cotton sheets, fragrance-free covers and comforters, and plush pillows, surrounded by room darken shades. There’s also a built-in desk area perfect for working or studying. Some of the other conveniences included are the washer and dryer located in the enclosed back porch area, which overlooks our spacious fenced-in back yard. On the front porch, you can just relax under the shade with our custom-made swings. They are ideal for taking in the morning air as you enjoy your morning coffee or conversing and connecting with family and friends in the evening as you watch the sun set. When you rent our Spacious Urban Retreat, you rent the entire home, except the basement and the detached garage. They're not included. If you need us, we’ll be there for you, 24/7, we’re just a phone call away. We love sharing our home with the responsible Airbnb community and we just ask that you take good care of her during your stay. Please review our simple and straightforward house rules. Also, on a case-by-case basis, yes we my allow your four-legged furry family member into the home. There is an additional pet fee, per pet, per night to ensure and cover the enhanced cleaning needed. Depending on the circumstances, we can cap that amount. We can provide you more details if you have a pet request.
