Due to a family medical emergency, we must cancel all our reservations. We will not be taking any new reservations at this moment either. Experience the serenity of the natural desert and enjoy inspiring majestic views of the Tucson Mountains, while living in a 4-bedroom, 2455 sq/ft , rustic, homey ranch house situated in the middle of 5 acres of saguaro cactus and desert wildlife. The space We feel the space is a place of peace as it has always had the ability to reset our sense of balance and harmony and realign our perspective on life. Our hope is that it becomes a sanctuary for the time you are in it. Watch the sunset on the Westside porch or grill and dine on your favorite foods in the Northside’s native landscaped garden, where the nights come alive with twinkling fairy lights and the awesome starry night sky. Cook up a feast in the large kitchen, dine with a view of Cat Mountain, and cozy up next to the warming wood fireplace in the large living room. Located west of Tucson near Tucson Mountain Park and 6.5 miles from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the 3J Ranch, which was built in the late 1960's, feels in many ways like a personal retreat. The house has not been remodeled (although we had new carpet installed in 2022) and has its quirks (like the locking mechanism for the sliding doors being a pin lock). Saguaro National Park West is only 7.4 miles away and downtown Tucson is 10 miles away. There are 2 Ecobee thermostat controls (in the living room and hallway next to the furnace closet). •Alarm/security system •Landscaped garden (Northside): concrete pathways, fairy lighting in trees, covered gazebo with glass-topped table, chairs, fire pit, ramada with grill, ramada with a round table, chimenea, 2-person slider swing. •Cantina (covered porch off of the kitchen): wood stove (decoration only), round table with laundry room/bathroom access Note the car garage is only for owner use and is not available for guests. Blu Ray DVD player •The house is not handicap accessible; however, you can access the house's ground level by driving east around the garage to the northeast corner of the house, thus bypassing the four front steps if needed. The bathroom showers have grab bars. The hall bathroom has a walk-in shower (with a lip) and the master bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
