The Manor is one of our most extraordinary units in the Texas Hill Country. Part of a farmhouse that was built in 1902, the Manor combines Fredericksburg’s unique German history with the rustic elegance of the Wine Country. This house was once the principal house on the farm of an early settler. Part of the German immigrant tradition, most inhabitants also had a Sunday House in close proximity to the church, where they resided on the weekends. During your stay Wine Country Cottages is locally owned and operated. Our business hours are from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The General Manager and owner are available after hours for emergencies. Other things to note The cottage is stocked with a countertop ice maker, toaster oven, electric wine opener, wine glasses, champagne flutes, water glasses, coffee mugs, plates, bowls, and silverware. Continental breakfast, thoughtfully curated and stocked in your cottage, is AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. The breakfast is a light, un-hosted breakfast in your cottage upon arrival. The Pastry Breakfast for 2 includes two ham-and-cheese croissants, two apple or blueberry cream-cheese strudels (locally made at Clear River Ice Cream, Bakery, and Deli), cereal, and milk. (Type of pastries subject to change depending on availability) The following are complimentary with every reservation: orange juice, coffee, water, creamer, sugar, hot tea, and hot chocolate. Check-in is at 4:00 pm, unless you have already paid for an early check-in.
