Very nice cabin, surrounded by nature. In the heart of Provence. Private accommodation on a small organic farm. Natural, healthy, flowery environment, rich in fauna and flora. Organic producers of olive oil and by-products, table olives, market gardener in fruits, vegetables and herbs, creators of various artisanal objects (beeswax candles, peacock feather jewelry, 100% natural soaps with our olive oil) Gite for two people, a fully equipped and independent individual cabin, in the heart of nature. Embellished with a terrace facing the organic orchard, you will enjoy your breakfast or dinner enjoying the morning sun, and the soft freshness of the evening. Consisting of a kitchenette, with dining area, bedroom and bathroom. You have at your disposal, a large terrace, and a nice corner under the trees, where to rest, read, or just enjoy the setting, a natural environment, unspoiled, plant-based, flowery and green. Ideally located in the Alpes de Haute Provence, very close to the Gorges du Verdon, Lac de Ste Croix, the Valensole plateau, you can easily get to Moustiers Ste marie, Riez, Digne Les Bains, a spa town, and can discover the lavender fields as far as the eye can see on the Valensole plateau. You will find yourself in the heart of Provence, Giono country, olive oil, lavender and cicadas. In the immediate vicinity, there are many walks available to you, especially in the famous Trévans Gorges, in the heart of a nature reserve, in a Natura 2000 area. Lovers of gentle or sporty walking, hiking, beauty, serenity, and nature will be delighted. Two minutes walk from your cottage, passing by a nice little path under the trees, a white water river, the Estoublaisse, where you can cool off in a clean place, free of pollution and always very quiet, you can enjoy moments of fullness and tranquility, away from the crowds, in complete privacy. The river Asse , in the village, guarantees you a gentle swim where the water is always good. You can also enjoy the benefits of water in the unmissable Gorges du Trevans, with its waterfalls, water holes, varied wildlife (many birds, beavers, butterflies, foxes, raptors, vultures, wild boars, deer...) The decor is majestic and its vegetation is intense. Several walking trails are to be discovered, which will satisfy the simple walkers as well as the most seasoned hikers. We are happy to advise and advise you on the best walks, shops, local restaurants and will be at your disposal for any questions. Regarding the environment, if you like the atmosphere of the countryside, the song of the cicadas and the crowing of the rooster and the turkey, the call of the peacock, and the sound of the river, this place is for you. Our four-legged friends are welcome, as long as you don't bother too much the chickens that move freely on the ground If you wish, we offer homemade meals with fresh and local produce, farmers and organic, in the evening, and you will be served on your terrace. The full menu is priced at €40 (starter, main course, dessert) per person, and free for children. Children , up to 3 years old, are welcomed for free. If you can't bring a suitable bed, we can offer you a folding bed. Beyond this age, we are not able to receive them, the cottage being arranged for two people. We don't ask for a security deposit or cleaning fee. In a spirit of trust, we expect visitors to leave the cottage as they found it when they arrived. We also kindly ask you to report any incident, breakage, breach or other inconvenience. We are at your disposal and would do our best to address it. You are a 2-minute walk from the Estoublaïsse River, 10 minutes from the Trévans Gorges, 30 minutes from Lake Sainte Croix, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, 20 minutes from Riez, a Roman town, 20 minutes from Digne-les-Bains, a spa town, 40 minutes from Gréoux-les-Bains, 10 minutes from the Valensole Plateau, renowned for its immense lavender fields, 1.5 hours from the first ski resorts (St Jean Monclart, Chabanon, Grand Puit), 1 hour from Aix and 1.5 hours from Marseille. In the village, 2 km from the cottage, you will find a grocery store with tobacco and bread, as well as a restaurant. Other amenities nearby. Other things to note You can only smoke outside the accommodation. Not inside, thank you. Our 4-legged companions are welcome, provided they are nice to other dogs/cats and humans, and do not run after chickens or other birds (peacocks, turkeys...) that sometimes venture towards the cabin... :) We do not ask for a deposit or cleaning fee.
