We want our guest to relax, have fun, share thoughts, tour Detroit, and have a great night sleep! Due to observance of religious day of rest, Saturday bookings must be made BEFORE 8 pm on Fri OR AFTER 930 pm on Saturday Sat August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 The space Starting Your Day It is important to us that our guests will treat our home as if they are home. Cook in the kitchen, Exercise to start your day or take advantage of our walking tours and sights which are local and/or less than 10 mins away (Ask for Details) or Rent a bike and explore the historic neighborhoods. Come back home and relax with other guest while watching a movie with homemade popcorn or get started on your dinner in our kitchen. The Diet & Kitchen We have a vegan diet and hope your diet is geared toward putting positive things into your system. We have pots and pans for vegans and nonvegans. Come and cook with us in a kitchen available to all guest. Organic Farm Seasonal (Coming Soon) Seasonally, we will grow produce which are organic and readily available for purchase when produce are in season and ready for harvest. Sleeping Dorms & Rooms There are separate dorms for men and women. The sleeping dorms are as small as 2 people to a room to 4 people in a room, The House We ask for patience as we restore our home. We will never interrupt your peace while renovating the property. Bike Rental Available during your entire stay, while bikes are available. First come, first served. A small agreement must be signed to rent our bikes. Meeting Place There will be various meetings held that may open to guest. Also, live music on occasion for the guest to enjoy. PETS: Cats and Dogs are welcome! Outdoors is area they can be housed. We only allow well behaved pets to stay outside in our back yard. You must have something (chain, collar, etc) to ensure your pet is secured in yard. You must clean up any waste left by your pet. If your dog will bark because he or she will miss you or just because they like to bark, unfortunately, this is not the best environment for your pet. We want everyone to be comfortable pet’s included! Guest access Guests can access common area with tv/gaming area, kitchen, laundry area. There is a code to access the house 24/7 (code is provided after meeting guest) During your stay I do enjoy socializing with guests regularly. I like to check in with guest to be certain they are comfortable and if I can be of help to them. I am available to communicate in person, via text and cell phone. Other things to note Saturday’s check in’s begin just after sundown (9:30 pm)The limited Communication on Saturdays is due to observance of religious day of rest. If guest book for Saturday please finalize on Friday by 8 pm in order to accommodate guest to arrive for noon on Saturday otherwise, I will check bookings starting Sat around 930 pm for Saturday eve stays.
