Located 3 miles from town, you can enjoy the beautiful and quiet rural landscape from this second floor attic room. An excellent setting for anyone needing a quiet space with an almost private entrance. Ask if you need an extra mattress. Full breakfast makes this a deal! We welcome children, but since this home is where we live, it is not ideal for us to host children beyond a week. Long term guests get a significant discount by the month and are provided with continental breakfast food. The space This is a home we built back in the early 1990s with the design and excellent craftsmanship reflecting Aden's love of woodworking in the furniture and cabinets you will see throughout the house. The latest furniture in this room includes a king-sized sleigh bed, a buffet that cleverly hides a microwave and refrigerator, a desk, and night stands, all made from quarter sawn white oak. It has plenty of pine wood floor space and a comfortable sitting area which includes a love seat with recliners. This room has a private bathroom and it's own mini split AC / heating unit. Guest access In the basement there is a family room with an entertainment center, a kitchen for guest use only, and a ping pong table. The quilt you see in the picture was in frame in our basement with our guests putting in a few stitches! Our front porch or back patio provide a place for great relaxation and a view of the gardens and fields. During your stay We live in this home. Wilma will likely be around when you are here and will welcome you with fresh cookies and treat you to a full breakfast. Enjoy fresh milk from the neighboring farm, home made yogurt, fresh fruit, baked goodness using freshly ground wheat flour, and other breakfast entrees. Other things to note We are across from a beautiful horse farm and next to a family dairy farm.
