The location on a quiet cul-de-sac is not far from various eating establishments. The famous Leinenkugal Brewery and two wineries are close by for tours and tasting. Across the road is Ray's Beach, a large public sand beach. The Old Abe (paved) biking trail offers great biking along the Chippewa River. Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls is a great place for families with a kid-friendly pool and petting zoo. Lake Wissota State Park is just across the lake offering swimming, picnicking, camping, hiking and biking trails and water rentals. Area events include: Country Jam, Country Fest, Rock Fest, Eaux Claires Music Fest, Northern Wisconsin State Fair, Pure Water days and many other great events in the surrounding area.
