Drink your coffee on the wide wrap around porch and watch the hummingbirds fly by as you experience the southernmost part of the Appalachian mountain range. We are located on a sixteen acre campground and retreat center in the Locust Fork River Watershed, two miles from Mardis Mill Waterfall, four miles from King’s Bend Overlook park, and fifteen miles from Palisades Park. Our grounds include sandstone glades, a cleared meadow, and restoration forests. The space The interior of the cabin is small and cozy, with a studio kitchen, sitting area, bed and bathroom, all surrounded by a wide, covered wrap around porch. It's an ideal space for folks who prefer to be outside. The porch overlooks a one acre meadow surrounded by sandstone glade forest. The kitchen includes an electric stove, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and toaster oven. The small bathroom includes a stall shower with 10 gallon hot water tank (enough for a 10 minute hot shower!). There is a queen bed and a twin bed in the cabin. Guest access We located on a sixteen acre campground; you will have access to 16 acres of woods to explore in addition to the cabin. We may be around on the property while you are here, but will give you privacy at the cabin. There may be other guests camping on the property. Other things to note Propane Grill Available on Request: We have a propane grill on the porch available for use on request. Please give us 48 hours notice to ensure that we have a grill tank available. We love hosting dogs; please tell us a little bit about them when you make your booking request. We have a small pit mix that usually is with us when we are around and there are neighborhood dogs you will probably encounter while you are here. We do not allow cats, domesticated birds, or any other animals at the cabin. The driveway is on the opposite side of the street from the mailbox.
