The Beach House: Waterfront cottage

Bring the whole family to this beautiful beach front cottage, with 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, fireplace, bar, pool table and bunkie. Enjoy walking the massive beach, the kids will want to play in the water along the sandy bottom all day. Relax under the covered porch, sun room or cozy beach chairs to watch the stunning sunsets. Fall is also a beautiful time to spend here or have a cozy Christmas with the whole family! Feel confident you will have everything you need for a relaxing vacation! The space The Beach House comfortably sleeps 8-10 people. An Additional nightly fee of $40 per person per night is applied for any more than 8 guests booked in each group to a maximum of 10 to accommodate the extra costs accrued with hosting larger groups (cleaning, septic maintenance etc) This spacious beachfront property has all the comforts of home with perfect private access to days of outdoor fun and relaxation. Truly a beautiful place to create memories. The water is spectacular, sand bottom and a long gradual entry perfect for young children. The water level will vary in spring in regards to the amount of beach exposed. Usually by mid June the beach is fully exposed as shown in the pictures and water levels rise again in late October or early November. Pembroke is approximately a 20 minute drive from the property where you can access grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor & beer store, hospitals etc. There are 5 bedrooms, three with private bathrooms. We ask that only children use the two sets of bunk beds please. There is Wi-Fi, 2 large flat screen TV’s with access to log into your own subscriptions to Netflix, Disney etc, board games, a bar, pool table and central air. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans, etc. The bunkie is attached to the garage which includes a pull out couch, small kitchenette and 3 piece bathroom. The large comfortable covered back porch and sunroom are really nice if its a rainy day, just sit and enjoy the views and fresh air or a little shade on a hot day. The gas BBQ is located on the upper level covered porch & a nice fire pit on the beach can also be enjoyed. Some water toys such as two kayaks are provided as well as life jackets. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage and property outdoor space, including the bunkie attached to the garage. The garage itself will not be accessible as well as the furnace room There will be self check in with keyless code access and there is parking for a maximum of 5 vehicles on site Other things to note Absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind inside the cottage. We are on a septic system so we ask kindly that guests respect and try to help managing water usage during showers and when flushing the toilets. Shorter showers and if it’s yellow let it mellow, if it’s brown flush it down kind of mind set is extremely helpful. We ask that check out be prompt at 11:00 AM as our cleaning staff will be there to get things prepared for the next incoming group. We ask kindly that guests tidy up what they have used, like doing dishes, gathering garbage and recycling, stripping beds and gathering towels etc. Also cleaning up the beach of any toys that were used, rinse and hang up the life jackets so they can dry properly, put the kayaks away and basically leaving the cottage as you found it please. Any damages found will result in Airbnb support team being contacted to obtain the monetary value of the damages from the guest. The hot tub in the sunroom will be drained and locked for now. We also ask that only the people provided on the guest list be present during the cottage stay. We ask that guests be respectful of neighbours and have any elevated noise turned off by 10:00 PM. Also there will be two security cameras on the property turned on, outside, one at the front door and one at the back door. We ask that those not be touched or moved at all. We also have a large generator on the property that will automatically start if there is a loss of power, so there is comfort in knowing you will not be without power at any point.
