Relax with the whole family in this accommodation. Located in the village of Monforte S. Giorgio, it is possible to enjoy a peaceful stay in the heart of the town. The house reflects a Vintage style and is ideal for those who want to disconnect from the hectic city life or simply spend a weekend in a different, relaxing environment. Other things to note The house was traditionally inhabited by the Captain (miles) responsible for public order. Located within the city walls built in the Aragonese period (14th century), it was not far from the entrance door (Porta della Terra). The view enjoyed from the house allowed the miles to control the inhabitants and traffic. A cultivated garden (viridarium) was linked to the house which allowed the miles family to survive in the event of a siege. The house was inherited from the ancestors of the current owners at the beginning of the twentieth century and, although restored, it has several original elements. It consists of two floors (ground floor and noble floor) and has Baroque-style furnishings, in line with the architecture, gastronomy and sweets of the historic village.
