Two Story Carriage House & balcony!
Description
Historic two story carriage house with balcony located in the hipster area of DC. Renovated and completely furnished, this private oasis in the heart of the city is perfect for long term stays (3 months or more) to explore or settle in the nation's capital. The space This two story carriage house provides a unique opportunity for a quiet oasis in the heart of the city. As it is located at the back of the main house, it is away from the noise of pedestrian and automobile traffic. Two levels provide a sense of being in a home, not a hotel or condo. The private deck/balcony off of the second floor master bedroom catches the morning sun and is lovely for that first cuppa! You are also welcome to share the patio with those living in the main house. Drawing upon our Australian experience, in the summer time we hope to "throw another shrimp on the barbie!" You are welcome to use the bar-b-q as well! The kitchen comes stocked with basics that you might need to get you started: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, instant oatmeal, tea/coffee and even hot chocolate! For those additional items you might need, the grocery store (Giant) is located around the corner. And Dupont Circle Sunday market is only 1.2 miles away with a direct bus line! The Queen sleep sofa is not a flimsy fold up mattress on springs, but rather the newest technology called the Tiffany 24/7 everyday sleep system with a Tempur-pedic mattress. Uber comfortable! There is a washer/dryer on the first level, along with laundry detergent and softener. Guest access The entire carriage house is for your use during your stay. Air Bnb will send you self check in instructions a couple days before your arrival. If for some reason you don’t receive them, please message us on the Air bnb app and we will send them to you! Self check in is accessed through your own private entrance off the lane way. Do let us know when you arrive so we know you made it in ok! Other things to note Airbnb has notified all Washington DC hosts that, based on an agreement with DC city authorities, as of February 15th, 2015 Airbnb will be required to charge an occupancy tax of 14.5% on the price of all short-term accommodation. This tax is over and above the prices quoted below and will be collected by Airbnb at the time of booking. Registration Details Hosted License: 5007242201000237
