The space Hosts (Butch & Sheila) are friendly and love the warm, restful atmosphere they've created here. They are onsite, but reside in their separate living quarters. Chickens (protected by our rooster) provide fresh eggs and if you desire can be arranged for from hosts. Coffee maker is available for grind enthusiasts. Fresh, great tasting well water. Ceiling fans are in every room. Host have a private onsite Cigar lounge. filtered and ventilated, but there may be some minor residual cigar aroma detectable. If you're offended by these types of aromas, you should consider staying at another location. Cell coverage for some carriers may not be accessible. We have Verizon and our coverage is good. The house is a split level floor plan and does have several short rise stairs that could be challenging for elderly or special needs individuals. Please let us know if you have any concerns about accessing the many available spaces, before booking your reservation. Smoking is allowed outside the house. Guest access The home is a Split-Level home with stairs leading into the house main living area, up to the guest bedrooms and down to the rear deck area. The majority of the house is available to you. This listing has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (1 w/shower, 1 w/Jacuzzi tub & shower), Living Room w/fireplace, Dining Room, Kitchen. Outside you'll find a covered porch area, large open deck with plenty of seating and plenty of parking (especially if you have a large vehicle to park). We have 1 acres to enjoy, with chickens. Great territorial views from deck and on clear nights the stars are fabulous! Hi-Speed wireless internet, great for streaming! Laundry facilities are NOT available. We have a local cleaner or wash & carry, we can recommend. Other things to note Since we're on the main road in and out of Rose Valley, there is occasional road noise. Lumber trucks travel this road from the forested area beyond our property and at times, could be heard inside the house. We're located across the street from the Rose Valley Elementary school, so there is a SLOW zone as they pass our place during school hours. Cell phone coverage may be restricted/limited. We use Verizon w/out problems.
