Easy walk to the Lakeside sports center, lake, creek and Cline Butte trailhead Other things to note Central Oregon – tons of things to do for all seasons. 3 great golf courses on property – As a renter you do get a discount (see pro-shop) Cline Falls Park (2 miles) – on the Deschutes river adjacent to Eagle Crest. Redmond (6 miles) – quaint and full city with lots of dining options, grocery stores, and places to shop – check out downtown – multiple food carts and some great restaurants. Tumalo (9 miles) – small town with a great food cart dining area “The Bite”, Tumalo state park – access for river floating. Sisters (14 miles) – great little downtown with lots of shops. We highly recommend Sisters meat and smokehouse for special meats to BBQ. Bend (19 miles) – largest city in Central Oregon, Tons of things to do there including concerts (Hayden home amphitheater), Deschutes River floats, Costco and Trader Joes, plus much more. Smith Rock (18 miles) A must see regardless if you are a rock climber or not. Hoodoo (36 miles) and Mt. Bachelor (41miles) – skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowmobiling – winter sports. And there are so many more places to explore. Sports and activities Weather and temperature dependent – almost year round golf, fishing, rock climbing, hiking, horseback riding, off road vehicles etc. Warm days – float Deschutes River, paddle board or Kayak many lakes, whitewater rafting.
