Description
Our home sets back off the road about 1/2 a mile. It has 7 bedrooms, 3 dining areas, and 3 sitting areas besides the round pergola with 6 swings and a fire pit in the middle stepping up to a long, covered porch with grill and patio table and chairs on the East before entering the house, a well-furnished kitchen with a big pantry, a sewing/ironing room with washer and dryer. We also have 2 sunrooms with comfy chairs, a concrete basketball court with hoop, and a very tall park-style swing set. The space There are no other homes visible besides our little garage apartment where my husband and I live when we are home. The house sets down the hill from Bella Rosa Venue. Our place is on 37 .5 acres on the edge of core of engineer land that surrounds Heyburn Lake. The property is well maintained, and the yard is always kept up and mowed. We have 2 kayaks and 4 life jackets in the green barn that guest can use to go exploring the lake. We travel a lot and spend all the time we can with our 5 married sons and 19 grandchildren. Our only pet is Benton, our cat. We also are raising some homing pigeons in the chicken pen. We have a lot of pretty flowers during April through October. We have 2 ponds, an above ground swimming pool on the South side, a barn for the tractor and mowers, and a shop full of junky tools and parts. The large fire extinguisher sits behind the door in the laundry room. First aid supplies are in the master bedroom bottom left drawer of vanity. Guest access Guests can use all parts of the house and yard except the garage area. Show respect to our furniture, books, and kitchen tools please. Fold up the bedspread and put aside and sleep between the top and bottom sheets. Quilts for warmth are provided to spread above the top sheet on the beds. One comfy throw is provided per bedroom. James or I will meet you when you arrive and give you a key to the door. Parking is not allowed in front of the garage nor on the drive to the garage. Guest parking is on the North side of the house, over on the concrete slab at the green barn, and alongside the driveway going down toward lake. Other things to note The East porch and Southeast sunroom is a very relaxing place to unwind, watch the birds, the weather, and the sun rise. The lake access is through the corp land and is not kept mowed. The kayaks are in the green barn on the North side. The yellow canoe is available for rowing and fishing in the North pond. The corp of engineer land is accessible for hunting wildlife in season with license. No hunting is allowed on our property.
