5 minutes drive from Soho Farmhouse, Wisteria Cottage is a luxurious two-bed cottage set in the tranquil Oxfordshire village of Sandford St Martin. Though centuries old, the cottage has undergone full renovation, completed in April 2022. Car advised or local taxis will need arranging as this is a rural hamlet. The space Ground Floor The entrance to the cottage leads into a large living room, set around a Scandinavian wood burner, with a large comfortable sofa and two armchairs. There is a smart TV - Freeview Channels & Netflix provided. The living room leads into the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is a brand-new shaker-style kitchen, well equipped with all the usual appliances including an oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table is compact but will comfortably sit four people. The kitchen’s stable door leads into the cottage’s large private garden. The kitchen opens onto an outdoor dining area, complete with a Weber BBQ and bistro table – the perfect combination for summer al fresco dining! A large lawn leads down to a comfy seating area. First Floor The first floor comprises two double bedrooms and a large modern bathroom. The master bedroom is fitted with a king bed, window seat and armchair, with a lovely wallpapered feature wall. The second bedroom has a double bed and a feature wall with a cute wallpapered feature wall. A travel cot can be supplied on request. The bathroom has a stunning walk-in shower with a rain effect shower head enclosed by a Crittall style shower screen. Please note there is no bath. Guest access Guests can enjoy the whole cottage and garden, it is not accessed by anyone other than the guests. Other things to note Maximum 4 guests including babies. Please be mindful of noise as this is a quiet hamlet. No EV charging allowed as there is a public path directly outside the cottage. Tea, coffee pods (& ground coffee), milk, sugar all provided.
