The newly renovated one bedroom apartment (that can accommodate up to 5 guests) above the detached garage at Artisan Studios provides a lovely guesthouse retreat. Nestled in the woods in beautiful Chester County, you'll enjoy privacy and seclusion even though you're just a 5 minute drive to anything you could need. We're just 8 miles from the PA Turnpike and only 38 miles (45 minutes to an hour) from Philadelphia. Feel free to bring your pet, as long as they are house broken or litter trained. The space This newly renovated large one-bedroom, one-bath wonder has a very large open concept living area, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, a bar, dining area, and a place for everyone to relax. There is also a futon couch that can be converted into a queen size bed if there are more than two of you staying overnight. There's also a lovely, large back porch where you can hang out surrounded by the woods on Black Horse Hill where you can take a stroll along some paths. Guest access You can walk directly from your private driveway to your private entrance to the apartment. Our family also lives on the property and we'll gladly share the use of our swimming pool and pool patio with you. The pool patio is one of my favorite places on Earth! Please note, we live on Black Horse Hill so there are steps to get into the apartment and you'll have to walk down (and back up) a slight slope to get to (and from) the pool. Other things to note Even though we're less than an hour from Philly, there are beautiful natural attractions close by. There is a State Park within 10 minutes of us where you can hike or kayak and we're just minutes away from the Horseshoe Trail. If you love history, Valley Forge is less than 30 minutes away. We also have some wonderful small towns with great shopping and restaurants. If you like beer (like we do!), the Victory Brewing Company is a local treasure around here. Also, we're within walking distance of the Lugwigs Corner Horse Show grounds.
