Guest access One of us is usually around and we can easily let guests in/out. We provide a house key. During your stay We love meeting people. We hosted several AuPairs from different countries when our kids were little and we still have great relationships with them. Since becoming AirBnB hosts, we have hosted guests from many cities and countries and greatly enjoy talking with them. They have all been great. On the other hand, if you prefer to not interact with us (say you are working on a project) , once you close the door to the room, you can have complete privacy. Other things to note Our pets have been denied access to this room for many years, so there should not be any fur/dander to get on clothes or irritate allergies. They are, however, free to roam in the major rooms of the house. We have one small dog (Jake) and three cats (Prince, Calvin, and Hobbes). All are rescue animals and are very friendly. On request, we will prepare coffee or hot water (for tea, hot chocolate, etc) . You are also welcome to use the breakfast supplies we use (milk, cereal, toast, bagels, eggs, etc.) You are free to use our microwave, cups, bowls, silverware and kitchen table for meals. Your personal food should be stored in the mini-fridge in your room. Any other kitchen use must receive prior approval. The room has a small frig which we stock with water.
